Central City Foundation has purchased a 58-acre property, a former Outward
Bound Camp, in the Similkameen Valley, for The Crossing at Keremeos. This
secluded, rural open space with plenty of fresh air and natural trails
is a place where youth can take inspiration from the beauty and tranquility
of
a natural preserve. The site is the ideal therapeutic setting to foster
recovery.

THE PROPERTY comes with 15 buildings, including
bunkhouses and cabins, a small caretaker’s residence, a barn and
workshop, a lodge and a variety of other structures. Many of these buildings
need only moderate renovation and retrofitting to repurpose them to the
specific therapeutic needs of a long-term residential treatment centre.
